AB3 – Architecture, Urban planning, Interior Design

A long story of practice and excellence

It was more than fifty years ago when an engineer from Milan (Goffredo Gori) and an architect from Monza (Giorgio Maria Battistoni) met together to build a professional collaboration in the building and construction field. Since 1957 on many famous buildings in Monza were designed by the firm. Between other remarkable projects stand two Public Administration headquarters (Vat, Inps), bank offices (Banca Commerciale), a church (Sant’Ambrogio) and a vast variety of offices, residential and commercial buildings and the new, modern football stadium of Monza (Brianteo Stadium).

Time had gone quickly and after engineer Gori passed away in 1988, Architect Giorgio Battistoni did not give up and the Studio Battistoni grew up fast; in the Nineties, Duccio Maria Battistoni joined the Studio, bringing new competencies and skill. The national and international architectural contests became the ideal platform to find out new, creative ideas, to verify and apply the best practices.
Thanks to the international experience, city planning and integrated architecture design were the focus of the firm. In the late nineties engineer Chiara Maria Battistoni became part of the team, with special experience in ICT and integrated communication, security and safety and engineering life-long learning education.

The versatile experience of the three professionals found out a turning point in 2007, when AB3 Architettura Battistoni Associati was officially founded (www.ab3architettura.it), launching itself in the current international context.
